Mission Survey Co. was founded on the belief that professional land surveying benefits from experience, attention to detail, and personal involvement.
After years of working on projects ranging from residential properties to large-scale land development and public infrastructure, our founder recognized the value of a smaller, more focused surveying practice.
Mission Survey was established to provide specialized surveying services with an emphasis on technical accuracy, professional judgment, and direct involvement throughout the surveying process.
Today, we serve property owners throughout Central and South Texas while also providing contract surveying support to established surveying and engineering firms statewide.
Robert Harper is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas who also holds an individual Professional Land Surveyor license in Louisiana.
Robert began his surveying career as a summer intern with a surveying company in the Houston area while still in high school. That early experience led him to pursue surveying professionally, earning an Associate of Applied Science in Surveying from Tyler Junior College, followed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. He obtained his Texas RPLS license at age 24.
His professional experience spans boundary surveying, land development, commercial surveying, and public infrastructure projects. His background includes field operations, survey production, project management, business administration, and the startup and leadership of a professional surveying firm.
Robert established Mission Survey Co. to pursue a smaller, more specialized approach to land surveying, allowing him to remain personally involved in the technical work while providing dependable professional services to property owners and fellow surveying professionals.
